Help Us Make a Documentary

Update (April 24, 2018)

The fundraiser came and went, and it was a fantastic success! You can read more about it here, or keep reading to learn why we did it.

Please join us on Sunday, April 22nd from 5-8pm for our first ever fundraiser: a casual evening of fantastic food and cocktails at Borough, Minneapolis. The evening will feature a silent auction and a short film clip that demonstrates the importance of our continuing educational work. Every penny raised at the event will be used to create a Minnesota documentary on addiction and the opioid epidemic that is affecting communities throughout the state of Minnesota.

Once completed, the film will be presented to Middle and High School students statewide beginning September, 2018. This educational initiative is the result of collaborative effort with Change the Outcome, the FBI, Hennepin County Drug Courts, local law enforcement, and young people in recovery who are working to Change the Outcome. You can save lives by joining us!

We see this event as a gathering of people who support youth centered educational initiatives to combat the opioid epidemic including Senator Amy Klobuchar, Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman, and other notable Minnesotans. We’d love for you to be one of them. Valet Parking will be provided.

    1. Because this is our first event, we’ve decided to limit bidding to those in attendance. Next year, we hope to open it up wider. If you decide to buy a ticket, you’ll receive an email with a link that will allow you to view the auction items. Thank you for your interest!
