On Monday, September 9th Executive Director Colleen Ronnei and team members Sydney Hastad and Cole Hastad attended and spoke at the Waconia Lions Club International meeting to share about the impactful work being done by Change the Outcome. Our passionate team discussed critical topics such as the importance of naloxone, recognizing risk factors, fostering open conversations, and how to support loved ones affected by substance use. We were lucky enough to even have Mayor Nicole Waldron present and eager to help bring CTO into local schools! Her support as well as the support of the Dandy Lions is invaluable. Attendees expressed their excitement to share what they had learned with their own children who are attending college.
