Change the Outcome’s Executive Director, Colleen Ronnei, and Director of Programming, Megan Wagner, an invited speaker for the event, participated in the DOJ’s inaugural Fentanyl Awareness and Prevention Summit held at the Southdale Library. Hosted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office and the Drug Enforcement Administration, the summit convened advocates, legislators, law enforcement officials, bereaved parents, and community members to address the devastating impact of substance use disorder and fentanyl overdoses on Minnesota communities. Panel discussions throughout the afternoon shed light on regional drug trends, dispelled myths surrounding opioids and fentanyl, and highlighted the life-saving impact of Naloxone.
