Minnesota schools are getting ready to open their doors, which means it’s time for us to prepare as well! Earlier this week, new and returning team members got together with professional storyteller and speaking coach Katie Knutson from Rippling Stories to hone their skills for the classroom. Part of our approach to opioid overdose education and prevention involves connecting students with young adults who have been impacted by substance misuse. Each of our team members tells their personal story in a way that gains students’ trust and sets the stage for honest conversation about opioids. We are always working towards improving our program and developing the professional skills of our facilitators, so thank you again Katie Knutson for the fantastic training sessions!
