Are you passionate about empowering youth and combating the opioid crisis? Change the Outcome is hiring Program Facilitators to deliver impactful learning opportunities to middle and high school students across Minnesota. You’ll equip students with vital knowledge on the opioid epidemic, addiction, emerging drug trends, responding to an overdose, and harm reduction tools to prevent substance use disorder and save lives.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead engaging presentations for middle and high school students, with 1-2 other panelists.
  • Professionally engage with educators, administrators, and advocates in related fields.
  • Support occasional event planning and represent Change the Outcome at industry events.
  • Stay updated on drug trends and addiction-related content relevant to Minnesota.
  • Prepare presentation materials.  

Who We’re Looking For

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Recent graduates welcome!
  • Personal connection to addiction (e.g., personal experience or impacted by a loved one’s SUD).
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; empathetic and able to interact with diverse groups.
  • Comfortable with public speaking and skilled at staying on message.
  • Proficient in data entry, Microsoft Office, and basic computer skills.
  • Passion for recovery; positive and resilient.
  • Team player who builds cooperative relationships.
  • Relatable to teens and enjoys engaging with youth.  

Essential Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel by car (and occasionally plane) throughout Minnesota.
  • Willingness to carpool with team members when necessary.
  • Comfortable presenting to all group sizes.
  • Timely communication via email, phone, video, and in person.
  • Reliable, flexible, detail-oriented, and punctual.  

Salary & Benefits

  • $50,000-$60,000 annual salary, commensurate with experience.
  • Health Insurance.
  • Mileage Reimbursement.
  • 10 paid holidays and 10 days accrued PTO annually.
