Our team loves taking trips outside the metro and Bemidji never disappoints! This time around we visited Bemidji Middle School and High School right before their holiday break. Winter weather prevented us from fully enjoying the outdoors as we normally would when we visit, but that didn’t stop us from having a wonderful time. It’s always a blast engaging with new students (even with winter break right around the corner!) and health teacher Mr. Eck from the high school contributed to some wonderful class discussions during our panels. Students asked about our team members’ experiences with grief or loss, a scary topic for most high schoolers, and we were able to broach the subject with the help of their teacher, who shared some of their own personal experience with the class. As always, thank you to the Bemidji community for welcoming us to your schools, we look forward to coming back soon!
Nice to See You Again, Bemidji!
