This blog marks the end of our welcome posts for the new employees that have joined us for the 25’-26’ school year! Today’s post is for Cameron Hueffmeier, who is excited to get into the classroom in the coming weeks! Cameron is a passionate young person who was impacted by substance misuse through someone who was close to him. Oftentimes people think of personal struggles when they think about the realities of addiction, but the experience of someone whose loved ones are struggling with substance misuse are equally important, and Cameron brings that perspective to our team. Presenting an honest and impactful picture of addiction is what Change the Outcome does, and to do that we need a variety of different perspectives for students to engage with. When he’s not working, Cameron likes to spend his free time gaming and building legos, so if you see him in the classroom, ask him what he’s working on! Thanks again for joining our team, Cameron!
