In hectic times such as these, a holiday like Father’s Day is a wonderful reminder to take a step back and appreciate the loved ones in our lives. Few things are as important in a young person’s life as their parents, and we send our gratitude to all of the fathers in our Minnesota area that make a difference in their children’s lives. Studies consistently show that teens with parents who provide qualities like structure, guidance, and warmth, are less likely to engage in substance misuse. Our program focuses on opioid education, but it is crucial for students to have good relationships with their parents in order to put that education to good use on a consistent basis.
