In a brief notice, we want to pass along info from the Hennepin County Public Health Department regarding a recent spike in Minneapolis overdoses this month. Overdoses were up by 50% from March in the first two weeks of April, and half of those overdoses came from just three area codes in central Minneapolis (55404, 55407, 55408). The rate of overdose is always fluctuating, and many are never reported at all. If you want to help, carrying narcan is a fantastic way to be prepared to serve your community!
