Last week, the Change the Outcome team visited parts of Northwestern Minnesota. They were able to reach over 1,100 students at 5 different schools! The team spoke with Perham High School, Pelican Rapids High School, Breckenridge Public School, Battle Lake Public School, and Ashby Public School. Big shout out to faculty and administrators at each school who helped to bring our programming in. It was powerful for the team to speak with students, with some students even sharing how they have been personally impacted by the opioid epidemic in their own families. This goes to show the importance of education surrounding substance use, Narcan (naloxone), and self-advocacy.
