According to a 2019 study, 1 in 3 young adults between the age of 18 and 25 will use opioids (either medically or through misuse). That story is familiar to many of our volunteers. It’s also familiar to national best selling author Cheryl Strayed, who recently returned to her native Minnesota for a speaking engagement put on by Change the Outcome and The Basilica of St. Mary.
